She was born and raised on the Caribbean island of Barbados and now currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina. She isn't afraid of writing strong female characters of color and every story is a journey into a fun and exciting world you can easily lose yourself in. The novel itself was a slow burner , pardon my pun. This book is a wonderful salacious mix of adventure ,the supernatural , and classic crime novel. It has rich imagery and the perfect man candy to spark your own fiery imagination.
